This weekend, two important groups will participate in the International Choral Cycle of Polanco. On Friday, 17th October, we will have the opportunity to listen to the Young Choir of Santander, a group that brings together around fifty young people aged between 16 and 28, directed by César Marañón.
On Saturday, 18th October, a veteran group from Cantabria, the Santa María de Solvay Choir, will perform, made up of bass voices and directed by Fernando de Benito. On this occasion, the Santa María de Solvay will be accompanied by the plucked string orchestra, "Plectro".
In both cases, the event will be at 20:00 at the Church of San Pedro Advíncula in Polanco. This choral cycle is organised by the Culture Department of the Polanco Town Hall, in collaboration with the Solvay Ensemble Choir and the company Solvay.
