On Friday 20th June, the Solvay Ensemble choir gave a small recital at the church of La Asunción in Torrelavega, as part of a concert scheduled within the commemorative events for the Centenary of the Coral Society of Torrelavega. They also performed, alongside the organising choir, the Coro Ronda Besaya and the Coral Voces Cántabras from Cabezón de la Sal.

Four pieces from our repertoire were performed: "The Rose" and "Ecce Novum" by Ola Gjieilo; "O sacrum convivium" by Giorgio Susana and "Ave Maria by Caccini" by Vladimir Vavilov.

The Solvay Ensemble choir performed accompanied by pianist Ana Pastor and the string quartet "Melisma".
