This is the second of the videos we have prepared as a preview of what will be "In paradisum", a very ambitious musical project by the Coro Solvay Ensemble that includes poetry, dance and a carefully crafted set design. Works by contemporary authors such as James Whitbourn, Ola Gjelo and Karl Jenkins will be performed, whose work "In paradisum" gives the concert its title. There will also be some more classical pieces by Mozart, Haydn and Vavilov. Accompanying the Coro Solvay Ensemble, in addition to the piano, will be a string quartet, saxophone and solo guitar. A group of students from the Gloria Rueda Dance Studio and actress Gloria Castillo, who will recite a poem composed especially for this occasion, will also participate. The concert is part of the International Choral Cycle of Polanco and will take place next Friday, 11th October, at 20:00, in the Parish Church of Polanco.
